I have always tried my best to spread joy to the people I come in contact with daily. Some days it is easier to do that than others but I hope this blog accomplishes that for you as that is my main goal. Another goal of mine is to show people they are not alone. In times like these, it is easy to look at other people and feel like they have no problems or would never understand how you feel but I hope this blog shows you that you are not alone and you are seen and heard.

As a nineteen year old girl, you are told a lot of things about what to do, how to act, what to wear, who to hang around, the list is endless. I have followed these societal guidelines all of my life but now I am tired of being the person everyone wants me to be and I am ready to be the person I want to be. I hope this blog helps other people as well.

With all of that being said, I hope you enjoy this blog as much as I do and join me in my journey of life.

I want you all to know a little bit more about me so you can connect with me :)

I am the youngest of three children in a very high-knit family. I live in the same neighborhood as seven of my ten cousins and we are all very close in age so I basically have twelve siblings and I wouldn't change it for the world. I really love The Godfather movies mostly because their family dynamics are very similar to my own.

My family and I are very into sports (just for context, my dog's name is Peyton and she was named after Peyton Manning). I played many different sports growing up but stopped in high school which causes my sister and brother to call me a non-athletic regular parson (NARP) as they both played college sports.

Growing up we always had music playing in the house no matter what we were doing and it instilled in me a love and respect for music. I love how music can take you out of your current situation and put you into a different point in time in your life or just escape into the lyrics. My all time favorite musician is John Mayer. I could go on about him all day but what I enjoy most are his lyrics. They allow me to escape and be put into the song with the great detail and creativity that he has.

I am a sophomore, health and exercise science major. My dream is to become an occupational therapist and work with children or with veterans. I love occupational therapy because I think it brings people so much independence that they have been missing and allows them to fully live and experience their lives.
